A research on the early urban development of western region

Aim To make known the development patterns on early urbans development of western region.Methods Using qualitative analysis,field research and desk research and theories of modern geography.Results Along with the empire of the nation′s military victory in the surrounding areas,the western urbans were made counties into the urban system.Conclusion Almost all the western urbans were beside rivers or water lines.A new urban spatial development pattern had been revealed as a result of the new spatial development in the western region relying on the original urban in West Han Dynasty.
