Abstract
In the case study of the cities in the valley areas of the northwest region,t his paper helps to recognize the development features of cities in the northwest region.Based on the background of the Westem Great Exploitation,it puts for ward the urban development strategy in the west region form three aspects of urbanization,resource and economy growth.
