Abstract
[Aims] The study aims to screen out suitable insecticides to control wheat aphides. [Methods] Toxicities and field efficacy of 5 insecticides were determined by slide dip method and foliar spray, respectively. [Results] LC50 Values of cypermethrin 10% EC,imidacloprid 10% WP,nicotine·matrine 3.6% CS,sulfoxaflor 22% SC and thiamethoxam 25% SG to Sitobion avenae were 30.34,19.30,3.93,11.22 and 21.63 mg/L,respectively. The control of thiamethoxam 25% SG and imidacloprid 10% WP against wheat aphid were more than 80% after 1 d after treatment, showing good readily availability. The control of sulfoxaflor 22% SC,thiamethoxam 25% SG and nicotine·matrine3.6% EC were 87.6-92.8% after 7 d after treatment, showing long persistence effect. [Conclusions] Nicotine·matrine3.6% EC,sulfoxaflor 22% SC,thiamethoxam 25% SG and imidacloprid 10% WP can be used to control wheat aphids.
