Abstract

Objective:To establish a fast and simple determination method for hesperidin content from five different species of Pericarpium Citri Retiulatae in Guangxi. Methods:The optimum extracting condition was optimized through orthogonal design test, and the hesperidin were separated and determined by TLC-UV.Results:The calibration curve showed a good linear relationship when hesperidin was in 2.7~27.0 μg/mL(r=0.9992,n=6).The hesperidin contents in the samples from different species were 24.45~30.87 mg/g.The results showed the hesperidin content in the sample from the peel of navel orange is highest. Conclusion:The method for the determination of hesperidin from Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae has high duplication and accuracy. It can be used for quality control of Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae.
