Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of BSHX on fatty liver. Methods Seventy-six patients with fatty liver were treated with BSHX decoction for 60 days, and 30 patients were treated with vitamin E as control. Results The efficiency and cure rate of the treatment group were higher than patients in the control group (P 0.05). ALT and AST in the treatment group were decreased to normal; total cholesterol (TC) and triglycerides (TG) in the treatment group were decreased to normal value. Conclusion BSHX decoction is of noticeable therapeutic effect on fatty liver, and it can decrease ALT? AST ?TC and TG.
