Abstract
Nitrogen and phosphorus removal from Guangzhou's municipal wastewater with SBR process was studied. The results showed that the effect of organics removal as well as nitrogen and phosphorus removal can be obtained while C:N:P was out of proportion. When total HRT was 4.5 to 5.5 hours, sludge load was (0.14~0.26)kgBOD_5/(kgMLSS·d),the effluent concentrations of BOD_5,COD,NH_3-N and TP was from 5.12 to (13.62 mg/L), 10.7~32.2 mg/L,2.83~9.83mg/L and 0.1~0.45mg/L respectively, the removal rates of BOD_5,COD,NH_3-N and TP was 85%~93%, 82%~86%, 53%~87%, 85%~99% respectively.
