Abstract
To lower the trend of serious eutrophication of reservoirs ,this paper studied the ability of SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) process to remove nitrogen and phosphorus from city wastewater. The results showed that under the experimental condition of pH 7.5~8.5, the aeration time used 3.5 hours ,when concentration of COD?TP?TN in entering water was 105~143 mg/L, 1.6~6.45 mg/L, 64.96~82.16 mg/L respectively, the efficiency of COD, nitrogen and phosphorus removal rate reached about 74.05 %~100 %?32.80 %~88.57 %?95.44 %~98.59 % respectively.
