Abstract

The treatment of municipal wastewater in Guangzhou with SBR process was studied. The results showed that in the reactor, the effect of organics as well as N-P removal can be obtained. The effluent constants of BOD5, COD, NH3-N and TP were partly 5.12-13.62mg/L, 10.7 - 32.2 mg/L, 2.83-9.83 mg/L, 0.1-0.45 mg/L, the removal rate of BOD5,COD,NH3-N、and TP were respectively 85% - 93% , 82% - 86%, 53% - 87% , 85% -99%.
