Preliminary Study on the Effects of Zizhuliqing on Animal Cellular Immune Function

[Objective] The study aimed to explore the effects of Zizhuliqing Oral Liquid on animal cellular immune function.[Method] MTT method and phagocytizing natural red method were used to determine the effects of Zizhuliqing Oral Liquid on piglet lymphocyte transformation and the phagocytosis of mouse peritoneal macrophages respectively.[Result] The lymphocyte transformation rates of piglets in medicated groups were significantly higher than that in control group;the difference of mouse peritoneal macrophage activities between the medicated groups and the control group was obvious.[Conclusion] Zizhuliqing Oral Liquid could promote the transformation of piglet T lymphocytes induced by ConA and the phagocytosis of mouse peritoneal macrophages to natural red,indicating its good immune enhancement effects.
