Research on Jinyang City as the Second Capital in Northern Qi Dynasty

Jinyang City has a long history.Soon after the Western Zhou Dynasty was established,there have been records of the prince using leaf to award his younger brother a state ,then the country of Tang appeared,and later it was replaced by Jin.With the evolution of the Spring and Autumn Warring States,Qin and Han Dynasty,due to the unique position of importance in power,Jinyang was gradually paid attention to by the ruler.Jinyang City during the Qi Dynasty enjoyed the status of the second capital.It achieved this distinguished status not because of their preference of Gaoshi family,nor because of its geography,history and other ecological and political strategy etc,but because of its multi-cultural blending.This research could help to promote the study of Shanxi culture,also contributed to strengthening academic research on the history of the ancient Chinese cities.
