Jingyang had still been the political and economical centre of Shan Bei after Zhao's capital was moved to Handan. Jinyang revolted at the beginning of Yingzheng's accession to the throne of Qin,which reflected the repetition of the scrambling for it between Qin and Zhao during the War of Unification. Taiyuan County was the kingdom of Lao'ai when he had an incomparable status,so Jinyang might reserve cultural relics which incarnated high level of living and consuming under the background of limitlessness to palaces and parks. Gaozu lived in Jingyang and made it the military base of offensing the Huns. The King of Dai made Jinyang his capital,in addition,he also inspected Jinyang and cancelled three years' taxes to Jinyang and Zhongdu as the emperor named Han Wendi. All of these historical facts described the brilliant history of Jinyang City.
