The value of localized biopsy with the electronic colposcopy for the diagnosis of cervical lesions

Objective To investigate the value and significance of the cervical biopsy with the electronic colposcopy for the diagnosis of cervical lesions in clinical practice.Methods The datum of 126 patients from January 2011 to December 2012 in Ruici Hospital in Nantong City were analyzed.All patients were received examined with electronic colposcopy and the results of diagnosis by electronic colposcopy were compared with the pathological examination.Results Of all these patients,chronic cervicitis was 67,cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) was 51 and 8 cases of cervical cancer,who were diagnosed with the electronic colposcopy.But with the pathological examination,cervicitis were 76 cases,CIN were 45 cases,5 cases of cervical cancer.Diagnosis rate were 89.5%,88.2% and 62.5%,respec tively.Conclusion The examination and localized biopsy by the colposcopy can be used for early diagnosis and im prove the detection rate of cervical lesions in order to early diagnose and treat for reducing the incidence of advanced cervical cancer significantly.
