Clinical Value of Colposcopy in Diagnosis of Cervical Lesions

Objective To investigate the clinical value of colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical lesions.Methods The colposcopy results of 240 cases with cervical lesions from October 2005 to October 2007 were analyzed retrospectively.Results The 240 cases of cervical lesions diagnosed by colposcopy were all performed pathological examination.The results of pathological examination showed that there were 72 cases of mild to moderate dysplasia(CIN Ⅰ-Ⅱ),10 cases of carcinoma in situ,20 cases of infiltrative cervical cancer and 138 cases of chronic cervicitis.Conclusions The colposcopy is valuable in the early diagnosis of cervical cancer and cervical precancerosis.
