Abstract

Orientation is a fundamental issue for the development of application-oriented regular colleges,which deserves deeper exploration from multiple perspectives.This paper studies the orientation of application-oriented colleges on the ground of three basic functions of higher education institutions.The orientation of such colleges should consist of category orientation and specific college orientation,the former is regional positioning,and the latter is fixed positioning.As for the evaluation of the quality of running a school,category orientation is about the foundation,while fixed orientation reflects the school's characteristics.
