Comparison of Liuweinengxiao Capsule and mosapride citrate in treating functional dyspepsia

Objective To compare the difference of curative effect in functional dyspepsia between Liuweinengxiao Capsule and mosapride citrate.Methods One hundred and twelve patients with functional dyspepsia were divided into two groups at random.One group was treated by Liuweinengxiao Capsule,another group was treated by mosapride citrate.Course of treatment was 4 weeks,everyone should return visit one time every week,symptom was recorded for analysis,gastric empting was observed and recorded before or after therapy.Results The total effective rate of Liuweinengxiao Capsule group was 74% and the total effective rate of mosapride group was 72%(P0.05).Comparisons between 2 groups showed no statistical significance on gastric empting after 4 weeks of treatment(P0.05).Conclusion There is no diference in curative effect and gastric empting role between Liuweinengxiao Capsule and mosapride citrate.
