Abstract

[Objective] To detect the expression and clinical value of lung resistance protein(LRP) in bone marrow mononuclear cells of acute leukemia(AL) patients.[Methods] The expression rate of LRP was detected by its monoclonal antibody and flow cytometry in 15 asiderotic anemia patients and 65 AL patients.[Results] The expression rate of LRP in initial and relapse/refractory acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL) patients were significantly higher than that in corresponding acute myelocytic leukemia(AML) patients(P0.05).The expression rate of LRP in M_5 subtype was higher than that in M_3 subtype in AML patients(P0.05).The remission rate of initial and relapse/refractory LRP positive patients were significantly lower than that of corresponding LRP negative patients(P0.05).[Conclusion] The expression of LRP is significantly related to the clinical prognosis of AL patients.Examining the expression rate of LRP before chemotherapy contributes to individual therapy and predicting effect of treatment.
