Comparative analysis on clinical efficacy of levofloxacin triple therapy and amoxicillin triple therapy for the treatment of peptic ulcer

Objective To investigate clinical efficacy of levofloxacin triple therapy and amoxicillin triple therapy in treatment of peptic ulcer. Methods 48 cases of peptic ulcer in our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group. Control group was given amoxicillin triple therapy. Observation group was given levofloxacin triple therapy. The daily cost, total effective rate and complication rate of two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate and complication rate of two groups were not significantly different(P 0.05).Daily cost of observation group was significantly lower than control group.Conclusion Both levofloxacin triple therapy and amoxicillin triple ther- apy for the treatment of peptic ulcer are effective and safe. The levofloxacin triple therapy is easily widely used for 1ower fee.
