Abstract
The preliminary studies on seed surface sterilizing condition, cotyledon differentiation medium and the natural tolerance of Kanamycin and Cephalosporin, with tomato variety Zhong-shu 6 as tested material showed that the optimum seed surface sterilizing condition is 2 min 0.2% mercury. The best optimum medium for callus differentiation and bud regeneration is MS + 6-BA 1 mg/L+ IAA 0.2 mg/L. The appropriate concentration of Kanamycin and Cephalosporin were 10 mg/L and 400 mg/L in genetic transformation of Zhongshu 6.
