Abstract
Objectives To observe the clinical effects of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) perindopril and non selective β receptor blocker carvedilol on conjestive heart failure (CHF). Methods Thirty four patients with CHF were received perindopril and carvedilol (therapy group) and 30 patients were received perindopril alone (control group), the clinical effects between two groups were compared. Results The effective rates of therapy group and control group were 94.1% and 70.0%, respectively ( P 0.05). Conclusions The treatment with combination of perindopril and carvedilol for CHF is safe and effective and its therapeutic effect is better than perindopril alone group.
