Abstract
The industry of chemical and geological mining occupies an important place in the national economy,which belongs to resources industry with dual nature of basic raw and semifinished material industry and aid-agriculture industries.The paper introduces the present system in use,the advantages in competition of the market of the contingent of chemicals and geological prospecting;and goes on to discuss the opportunities and challenges in the process of reform in China.Some of the potential problems that may arise are also examined,and this is followed by some specific means required for sustainable development in chemical and geological mining industry based on the overall thoughts in China.
