Abstract

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of urapidil intravenous injected by micro-pump in treatment of hypertensive emergency patients. Methods There 78 cases with hypertensive emergency werereated wih 50mg urapidil by intravenous micro-pump. The blood pressure (BP),heart rate (HR),adverse reactions were monitored and recorded before administration and 5min,10min,30min,60min,120min after administration. Results Compared to that before administration, blood pressure were significantly decreased after administration, showing a significant difference. While there was no significant difference in the heart rate. Conclusion Urapidil intravenous injected by micro-pump is effective for treatment of hypertensive emergency with fewer adverse reactions.
