Diagnostic value of vertebral artery stenosis with 16-slice spiral CT angiography

Objective To investigate the clinical applications value of vertebral artery stenosis with 16-slice spiral CT angiography(CTA).Methods The CTA data of 39 patients of vertebral artery stenosis with clinical or imaging confirmed were retrospectively analyzed.Results 39 patients,6 patients with vascular abnormalities of the vertebral artery,including walking marked dilatation in 1 cases,3 cases with stenosis or narrow,1 cases of vascular variation,2 cases with wall calcification plaque.Conclusions CTA examination can be used as a commonly used screening method for head and neck artery stenosis,which is helpful to the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral vascular disease.
