Abstract
A new imidazoline amphoteric surfactant was prepared from oleic acid, N-(2-hydroxyethyl) ethylene diamine and aminosulfonic acid via amidation ,cyclization and sulphation. Its surface tension, C cmc ,foaming capability etc. were measured. When it was applied to leather fatliquor for goat garment leather the results were good. For example,the leather was soft, plump and elastic.
