The Role of College English Teachers' Cultural Literacy in New College English Reform

Abstract

Teaching Requirements for College English has set new requirements for quality education of College English, therefore, it is necessary and urgent to develop College English teachers' cultural literacy. In light of the teaching objectives set in the College English reform, this paper suggests some effective approaches to enhance teachers' cultural literacy in order to achieve sustainable development of College English teachers.
