Abstract

Objective: This article describes the design and restoration for old patient diagnosed with mandible dentition defect accompanied with partial medium to severe attrition. The purpose is to explore the splint removable of denture effect in the reconstruction of whole occlusion system's order, the balance of occlusion and the rehabilitation of vertical dimension. Methods: Splint of removable dentures were made for 46 old cases. The clinical effect was followed up in 1th month. 6th month and 12th month. Results:The clinical effect are satisfied with expected results. Conclusion: The splint of removable denture is an effective measure to treat dentition defect accompanied with medium to servere attrition.
