Mental health state of Middle and High School Students in Kaifeng

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the mental health state of middle and high school students in Kaifeng and provide scientific basis for mental health education.Methods: 360 middle and high school students in Kaifeng were tested with MSSMHS. Results: A major feature of mental health state of middle and high school students in Kaifeng was that mental troubles generally existed but they were not serious. Mental health state of high school students was inferior to that of middle school students . Mental health state of students in the countryside was inferior to that of students in the city. Boys suffer from the same mental troubles as girls.Conclusion: The mental health education should be emphasized for middle and high school students to improve their mental health state .
