Mental Health of Students in Different Kinds of Senior Middle School in Tangshan

Objective To evaluate the mental health of the key high school students,normal high school students and vocational high school students,and to provide evidence for mental health education.Methods A total of 1 860 students from three kinds of high school in Tangshan were investigated with the Mental Health Test(MHT-RC).Results There were significant differences among three kinds of high school students.The mental health of the key high school students was better than that of the normal high school students and vocational high school students.There was a little significant difference of mental health state between general high school students and vocational high school students.The general high school students had obviously higher impulse-tendency and lonelytendency,but the vocational high school students had obviously higher study-anxiety and phobic-tendency.Conclusion The students from the general high schools and the vocational high schools are the emphasis for the mental health education.
