Mental Health Investigation of Elementary and Middle School Students in Kunming

Based onmental health test table(MHT),548 elementary and middle school students from four urban areas in Kunming were investigated with questionnaires about mental health,and the results show that the mental health for most of elementary and middle school students is good but there are still one third of students are in the mental sub-health state.The mental health of middle school students,with common learning anxiety,is not as good as that of elementary students.There are no clear gender differences of mental health for elementary and middle school students with more feeling of terror for girl students.Therefore,measures such as more care,extensive education and effective guidance should be taken to raise the mental health for elementary and middle school students.
