Understanding and Practice of Academic Construction and Cultural Education——A Case Study in College of Life Science and Technology of Huazhong Agricultural University

Academic and culture are the two central themes in sustainable development for colleges and universities.The academic research is the pushing force for the survival and development of colleges and universities,while culture is an important spiritual pillar for colleges and universities,both of which are the reflections of the core competitiveness for colleges and universities.Taking College of Life Science and Technology of Huazhong Agricultural Univerisity for example,this paper discussed how should the colleges,as the primary academic organizations of university,implement the scientific concept of development in depth,and practice the idea of academic construction and cultural education in order to promote the coordinated development of colleges.
