Exploration of the Commentary Characteristics of the Song Dynasty's Poetry

Historically,people give different judgments to the commentary characteristics of the Song Dynasty's poetry.This article elucidates the rationality of the emergence and existence of the commentary characteristics of the Song Dynasty's poetry,affirms its innovation and development from the poetry of the Tang Dynasty,and denies the wrong view which totally negates the commentary characteristics of the Song Dynasty's poetry because of the poor quality of some superficial Song poems from the analyses of the conformity.The author also make comments on the influence and the concrete values of the commentary characteristics of the Song Dynasty's poetry.By taking the famous poems from Su Shi and Huang Tingjian,the pioneers and the successful practitioners in the development of the commentary Song poetry,the author showed the commentary Song poetry's great value.
