Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of activated platelet by detecting platelet membrane glycoprotein(CD62p) and platelet activation complex-1(PAC-1) in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Flow cytometry was used to measure the positive percentages of CD62p and PAC-1 in 45 patients with acute cerebral infarction and 35 healthy subjects as control group.The measurement was carried out at the points of 48 h,6-8 d and 3 weeks after acute cerebral infarction's occurrence.Results In the patients with acute cerebral infarction within 48 h,the positive percentages of CD62p(25.1%±7.4%) and PAC-1(65.2%±9.9%) were higher than those in the control group(4.0%±1.3% and 8.2%±2.2%)(P0.01).Then the levels decreased gradually within 3 weeks,but they still had higher values than those in control group(P0.01).Conclusions The platelet of patients with acute cerebral infarction shows the highly activated state.It is important to monitor the platelet activation degree for predicting the clinical condition and guiding treatment.
