Study on Immunological Function of placental powder

Abstract

Objective:To study effects of Chinese Medicine placental powder on immune function in mice.Method:We determined and compared the several index of humoral nonspecific and specific immunity in the normal mice and immunosuppressive mice.Results:the placental powder could significantly increase the phagocytic index of mononuclear macrophage of mice,( P 0.001),it also enhanced obviously the immune organ weight of mice.( P 0.001, P 0.05),and improved the inversion response of splenic lymphocytes( P 0.01).In addition it could increase the production of serum hemolysin( P 0.01).Conclusion:the placental powder could improve immune function of the mice.
