Abstract
Objective To summarize the experience in diagnosing intracranial aneurysms by three-dimensional digital subtraction angiography (3D-DSA). Methods 3D-DSA was performed in 18 patients with intracranial aneurysms and suspected intracranial aneurysms after 2D-DSA. The outcomes of two examations were compared each other and analyzed. Results 2D-DSA examination showed that there were 15 intracranial aneurysms in 13 patients of the 18 patients. 3D-DSA examination showed that there were 18 intracranial aneurysms in 15 patients of the 18 patients. Conclusion It is suggested that 3D-DSA can increase the positive dignosis rate of intracranial aneurysms as compared to 2D-DSA.
