Abstract

[Objective] To evaluate the clinical value of ThinPrep cytology test(TCT) in the screening of cervical cancer.[Methods] Of 2914 cases,cervical cytology was examined by TCT,and then the abnormal cases were detected by colposcopy and pathological examination.[Results] In 2914 cases,188 cases were positive,the incidence was 6.45%.At the same time,there were good coincidence between TCT and pathological results of colposcopy.[Conclusion] TCT may be a main method to screen and diagnose the precancerosis of cervix.
