Studies for relations of multi-slice spiral CT perfusion parameters and serum vascular endothelial growth factor in patients with gastric cancer

Objective To expore correlation between MSCT perfusion parameters and serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)level in patients with the differenciation gastric carcinoma.Methods 67gastric cancer patients in our hospital from October 2011to October 2012were divided into stageⅠ-Ⅱgroups and stageⅢ-Ⅳ group based on TNM method and cases confirmed,we compare perfusion parameters(blood volume BV,blood flow BF,mean transit time MTT,permeability surface PS)and serum VEGF level in two groups,then analyze the correction among perfusion parameters and serum VEGF serum VEGF level with person-correlation analysis method,with the use of Toshiba Actvion16CT 、high pressure Stellant injector,and pancreatic perfusion software to process the data.Results The perfusion parameters BF and PS in stageⅢ-Ⅳgroup was higher than in stageⅠ-Ⅱgroups with significant difference(P0.05),but the perfusion parameters BV and MTT with no significant difference(P.05).The significant difference in serum VEGF level existed between stageⅠ-ⅡandⅢ-Ⅳ(P0.01);Correlation studies had shown that there existed significant correlation between the perfusion parameters(BF and PS),and serum VEGF level in two groups,especially PS with r=0.635,0.715,respectively,and P=0.001.Conclusion MSCT perfusion parameters PS PF has a great application value for the staging of gastric cancer,which can provide more reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
