A Discussion on How to Make College English Classroom Teaching Effective

Abstract

Classroom teaching is the key of college English teaching reform which is a complicated systematic project.Starting from analyzing the shortcomings in the current situation of college English teaching,this paper focuses on how to make college English classroom teaching more effective from four aspects: the teaching model,the teacher's role,the students' English learning strategy and the building of teaching materials.
