A clinical analysis of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids in the treatment of 320 severe hemorrhoids

Objective To summarize the clinical experiment of PPH on treatment of severe hemorrhoids.Methods PPH was used in the therapy of 510 cases of severe hemorrhoids from May.2001 to Dec.2004 and clinical data was retrospectively analysised.Results Operation time of all cases was 12 min for average;The clinical effects of 508 cases were fine;2 cases were not good for the hemorrhoids;The complications after operation were anus pain(30 cases),anus bleated(100 cases),hematochezia(90 cases),temporary incontinence of stool(5 cases),stoma granulomatous(1 case).Conclusion PPH is a safe and effective treatment for severe hemorrhoids with the advantages of less complications and quicker recovery.
