Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect of valsartan to blood pressure and C-reactive protein level in patient with obesity hypertension,to provide basis for valsartan in treatment of obesity hypertension. Methods 70 cases patients with mild and moderate obesity hypertension were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each of 35 cases.Observation group were given valsartan, and control group were given amlodipine for 24 weeks. In addition to general observation before and after treatment(waist circumference, body mass index, blood lipids, blood glucose),the emphasis on blood pressure and C-reactive protein. Results After treatment 24 weeks, the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of two groups were decreased(P0.05),the the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of 2 groups was no significant difference(P0.05).Observation group count significantly reduce C-reactive protein level, and C-reactive protein level was lower than that of control group, the difference were statistically significant(P0.05).After treatment,triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C) of observation group decreased significantly,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) increased significantly, the difference were statistically significant(P0.05 or P0.01).After treatment, the level of LDL-C of observation group was lower than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion Valsartan can decrease the blood pressure, improve the metabolism indexes and C-reactive protein level.
