The role of MRA for carotid artery stenosis comparing with DSA

Objective:To establish a distinguishing standard of noninvasive technique for angiostenosis,so as to offer the therapeutic reliable base for carotid artery plaque.Methods:CE-MRA and DSA were performed in 44 patients confirmed by MRI with ischemic cerebrovascular disease,the degree of angiostenosis was compared and the data were analyzed.Results:There were 44 cerebral infarction patients with 32 carotid artery plaques,there were different extents of stegnosis in different locations of carotid artery,the detection of MRA and DSA for carotid artery plaque had no statistical difference(P0.05).Conclution:The noninvasive technique MRA for angiostenosis has approximation to DSA,it can be instead of invasive technique DSA in predict-ing the risk of cerebral accident,directing clinical treatment prescription.It is crucial to implement early diagnosis and individualized treatment and provide clinic for important value index.
