Abstract

Objective To evaluat the accuracy and the application value of MRA combined with carotid artery uhrasonograph in patients with cerebral vascular stenosis. Methods Comparing the cerebral vascular stenosis imaging results from three different imaging diagnostic methods: MRA,carotid artery uhrasonograph and DSA.Results Comparing the combination of MRA and carotid artery uhrasonograph with DSA.The sensitivity of cerebral vascular stenosis diagnosis was 82.9%,specificity was 75.0% and accuracy was 82.6%.Conclusion The comparative study shows that both the combination of MRA and carotid artery uhrasonograph and DSA have high clinical application value in the diagnosis of cerebral vascular stenosis.Although DSA is still the 'gold standard' in the diagnosis of cerebrovascular disease,it is traumatic, high risk and expensive,as a result it should not be the first choice in detecting cerebral vascular stenosis. On the other hand, the combination of MRA and carotid artery uhrasonograph is noninvasive and has high diagnostic accuracy. So this combination examination method has high clinical value and should be the first choice.
