Abstract

Using orthogonality experimental design method, the graft copolymerization of acrylamide onto chitosan was investigated in nitrogen condition by using ceric amoniun nitrate as redox initiator and under different reaction temperature, time, monomer concentration and initiator concentration. The graft copolymer was also characterized by IR and XRD.
