Abstract
A genetic transfomation regeneration system from aseptic seedling leaves of chrysanthe-mum (Dendranthema morifolium) was developed. Adventitious shoots were directly induced andregenerated from leaf explants of chrysanthemum, and the medium (MS+6-BA 3 mg.L-1+NAA 1 mg.L-1), which could directly induce shoot regeneration, was used. Shoots were rooted on half-strengthMS media with IBA and NAA. The rooted plantlets grew well in greenhouse.
