Abstract

To develop a method for determination of trace microcystin(MC) in drinking water by solid phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) methods was introduced.MCs in water were enriched and purified by solid phase extraction, eluated by methanol, and the eluate was concentrated by N2 gas.The HPLC separation was carried out with column using Vmethanol∶Vphosphate buffer solution=45∶55 as mobile phase, which was detected under wavelength of 238 nm.The results show that a good linearity on range of 0~1 μg / L can be achieved and average recovery rate are 100.9 % and 92 %,respectively. The method is sensitive and accurate for the determination of MCs in water.
