Abstract
Objective:To develop a method for determination of microcystin(MC)in water by solid phase extraction-High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Methods:MCs in water were enriched and purified by solid phase extraction, eluated by methanol, the eluate was concentrated by N2 gas.The HPLC separation was carried out with C18 column by UV at 238 nm using acetonitrile-water(include 0.1% TFA) as mobile phase. Results:Tow components showed good linearity in the range of 0~5.0 mg/L,average recovery was 84.3%~87.9%,RSD5%.Conclusion:The methods is sensitive, accurate and precise for the determination of MCs in source and effluent waters.
