Abstract

Objective To investigate the intervention effect of systematic health education on patients with different levels of hypertension. Methods The systematic health education intervention was conducted for 110 hypertensive inpatients, and the result was compared with that of the controls. Results The systolic and diastolic pressures in the trial group dropped statistically significantly as compared with those in the controls(P0.05),especially in the patients with grade I hypertension. Conclusion Standard systematic health education based on the long-term regular medication has important effects on controlling the blood pressure.Systematic health education contributes to drop of blood pressure and it is a very important part for patients with gradeⅠhypertension, with positive promotion on improving the patients′ quality of life and physical health.
