The Efficacy of Ebastine Combined with Tranilast in treating Chronic Urticaria

Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Ebastine combined with Tranilast in treating chronic urticaria.Methods:86 cases were divided into two groups.The patients in study group were treated with ebastine and tranilast,and the control group with ebastine only.Results:The efficacy rates of study group and the control group were 84.4% and 70.0% respectively.There was significant difference of severity scores between two groups after 4 weeks' treatment(P0.001).Conclusion: Ebastine combined with tranilast is an effective and safe method in treating chronic urticaria.
