Abstract
Coal mine gob has harmful geological function to structure construction.Effective investigation method should be used to determine the location of coal mine gob to avoid its hazards.By analyzing the geophysical characters of coal mine gob,it proposed that transient electromagnetic method(TEM)is an effective exploration approach.Pure secondary field was observed and high resolution was acquired through the method.An exploration to one coal mine gob under speedway was made,the detection results show that,coal mine gob has its unique geo-electrical identity.Drilling results proved that TEM had achieved good effects.
