Abstract
Aimed at the problem of lots of untreated coal mine gobs left by coal mining may cause geological disasters. This paper introduces the principle of the high density resistivity method and the theory of 3D resistivity finite-element forward modeling.By building a coal mine gobmodel and conducting a 3D forward modeling,it further notes using the high density resistivity method to detect the coal mine gob is effective.
