Abstract
With the development of transient electromagnetic theory and data processing methods and the portability of instruments and the high construction efficiency, TEM is more and more applied in railway geophysical exploration. In this paper, the basic principle, field work method and data processing method of OCTEM are briefly introduced. And the OCTEM is applied to the geophysical prospecting work in the coal mine gob of a high-speed railway. Finally, according to the pre-drilling and post-verification drilling data, it is verified that the OCTEM has a good prospecting effect in coal mine gob exploration.
