Abstract

Objective:To explore the application of bispectral index(BIS)monitor during the total intravenous anesthesia.Method:Sixty patients undergoing the total intravenous anesthesia were randomly divided into the BIS group and the control group,30 cases in each group. The blood pressure,ECG, BIS values during anesthesia and operation in BIS group were observed;the control group routine monitoring of blood pressure,ECG,according to the changes of vital signs during operation to regulate the intravenous dose to control the depth of anesthesia.Recorded the blood pressure, heart rates, anesthesia dose, the time of extubation by postoperative, the time of postoperative patients returned to the wards of patients in two groups.Result:The decrease of blood pressure during anesthesia induction, anesthesia dose, extubation time and postoperative patients returned to the wards time of the BIS group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:In total intravenous anesthesia in application of BIS monitoring enables operation in patients with stable anesthesia, less anesthesia dose, and can reduce anesthesia recovery time.
